• Built an e-commerce startup for pet products and services, including pet-taxis, walks, and peer-to-peer sitting and boarding.
• Wound down after an inconclusive product-market fit search, then shifted focus to doctoral research and entrepreneurship.

• Prototyped and developed factory automation systems using robotics and state-of-the-art computer vision for dynamic industrial environments.
• Built a pipeline from sensor point-cloud acquisition through ROS integration, RANSAC/ICP-based segmentation and model fitting, to robot motion and path planning with MoveIt.

• Designed a Real-Time SIL emulation architecture for ADAS testing and validation, sponsored by Ford Motor Company.
• Mentored a team of 5 undergraduates building a fleet of vision-equipped, small-scale autonomous vehicles for V2X safety-application testing.
• Researched DSRC-based V2V safety networks and model-based information networking for automated-vehicle situational awareness, sponsored by CAMP.
